Diet and exercise during cancer treatment is of the utmost importance. One should follow an exercise program that incorporates resistance training as well as cardiovascular exercise. Some type of exercise should be performed at least 4 days per week. The cancer patient should alternate between weight training and cardio. The cancer patient should also adopt a healthy diet. Diet should consist of "clean" foods. A person undergoing treatment for cancer should not eat any processed foods. Lots of fruits, vegetables, chicken and fish are recommended. It is also important to get some healthy fats, such as fat found in fish and nuts. Being aware of exercise and diet is very important.
