The treatment for cancer has it reached to a point of cureable?

There are many treatments for cancer, but I don''t think there is a cure, yet. I think that there has to be much more research and testing done before anyone can say that cancer is 100% treatable or even preventable. Cancer treatments today are harsh and cause so much pain. Chemotherapy helps many people, but with devastating side effects, such as burns, hair loss, and nausea. Researchers have discovered some carcinogens, but more are out there, lurking unknown. Not all cancers are as treatable as others, some have very high success rates (when caught early) and yet others give little chance to the patient.
